Mission: JEEP Rescue

Our neighbor Kenny Werle was doing chores on his land adjacent to ours and sent his son over to ask if he could get the JEEP out.  An angel from above!

Stuck JEEP

I'd mentioned the stuck JEEP, but failed to upload pics of the adventure...here we go!

Unbelieveable!

Bernie was trimming Shinzou's nails with the dremel and the little boy fell sound asleep in his arms.  Go ahead, be amazed!

September '09 Dog Jog

These pics are of us at the Dog Jog which was put together by Renfro Vet Clinic to benefit the local pet shelters!  We did the better part of the 5K.  RoJo is getting up there in years and these walks take their toll on his old bones.  He did great though!

Joining us in the following picture is our neighbor dog, Akaya!

We also purchased some professional pictures from the big day.  It was GREAT!

Vaccination Day June 2009

Ya know, we take pics for the blog but never make the time to upload them.  These are the photo'd highlights from the BIG VACCINATION DAY for Webb Ranch!  We hauled eight cats and three dogs to get "shot."  Renfro Vet Clinic worked it all out in 1 hour and 45 minutes!  Credit to them!

Home again!

So we've had a bit of snow!

It has been quite a while and for this all we can say is we are on Facebook and keep up there! For those who do not have an account here is what happened today.

KC received quite a load of snow! I had fun getting my JEEP stuck and Shinzou had a good time diving in with his nose.

This just in...Shinzou is a fur stolll!!!

He decided he wasn't the man for the job. ***No animals were injured in this modeling shoot.***

Burned the meadow...

Half way up the drive at the "run off" point. This was the best part of the controlled burn.

This one is the view from the house. CRAZY looking!!! Keeping the animals out of it will be the biggest challenge. All those black paws!!

Shinzou is doing great by the way! He is bounced totally back from his surgery. He won't stay calm and mellow, not that we expected that anyway!

Recovery from The Event

Well, it was the quietest day at Webb Ranch since Shinzou blessed our home. Longest for me true to the husbands word. I kept hearing phantom harrooing...creepy. Thank you to Cornelia Marie's Mom for her email support and I was able to ease the desire to hear harrooing by visiting her blog!
He came home totally out of it. Our thanks to Michelle at Dr. Renfro's who took extra good care of my precious Li'l Sugar Dumplin. She brushed him out and cleaned up his piggies.
Today is filled with long mournful cries whines and the like...it's going to be GREAT fun to keep him quiet and calm for seven to ten days! RIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHHHHTTT!

Just got home, don't even want my favorite ice cube treat...
OH good DaddyBernie is home! He'll really feel bad for me!!! He is talking sweet to me here and giving me a good rubbing down to which I melt into him for!

I tried telling him the collar was one of royalty, he's not buying it! But it is helping keep him from licking the surgical site...

Getting my "bits" removed today!

Today is the day Shinzou goes to the vet for the big surgery. I thought I'd take some before pictures! He has been a PILL so it's probably the best time to have him brought down a few levels. It's looking to be a long day for me, RoJo isn't the constant companion my Sugar Dumplin has been. I'll be waiting for Erika to call from Dr. Renfro's office today!
Pray for my little bugger...

The following picture is an every morning image for me. He sits or as in this case stands to watch DaddyBernie drive down our long driveway as he leaves for work. It's a pretty sad sight.

Sunday Snow Day

So we got a little snow in the KC area in addition to general yuckiness...alas, there was some fun to be had.

First you'll see a picture of Bernie's "girlfriend" Josie. Josie let the world know when she grows up she's going to marry Bernie because he tickles her and makes her laugh. Friends, THAT has everything to do with why I married him! Josie is a real treasure...Here she is with her snow kitty! {thanks to Josie's Mom, Jenn for letting me put this up on our blog!}

Before Sunday Mass Bernie announced he didn't have the time, but he was going to do it anyway. He let The Sibes Run in the snow...wow, what a sight!

The both enjoyed their time and I'm so glad Bernie let them run as it's all melted and yucky now!! It's difficult to tell the difference between the boys, but look closely...you'll see who the BIG DOG is!
