We have been bad blog publishers! Life has been a whirlwind for us. Bernie came back to "normal" people hours and is working 8-5 now! It's wonderful to be in each others hair more, like it should be.
We [Shinzou, RoJo & I] are working from home full time now. We came home in January. We love every minute of this and it's been a real blessing all the way around. The only thing I miss is going to daily Mass. My manager and dear friend Tracy was generous in allowing me to start late on Friday's so I can go to Mass one extra day week! Apparently even Tracy knows I need it!
Shinzou continues to be the life of the house. In the following pictures you will see a vibrant young dog. He gets along with EVERYONE in the house. The cats have warmed up to him and he will share his dish with anyone of them that is interested. Of course, he watches closely. Now that we're home full time we still practice on the leash, but our manners are slipping a tad bit. Goodness is he spoiled!
He will be a year old Aprill 22nd, but I think we'll be having him neutered in about 10 days. He's doing well with "all that" but it's time. We're seeing changes in his personality that aren't all that attractive. Alas, he remains my little Sugar Dumplin and races into open arms for hugs and strong massages. His overall personality remains top notch.
We figured out how to make him tired though. We took him to our dear friends early January to cut and split wood for 8+ hours. He got to run many acres with us. Shinzou dug in the dirt. Ran through creeks. Got really muddy. Thoroughly drenched and well, he slept for two days! Cannot wait to take him next time! He is a great dog.
In RoJo we've notice the old man slowing a bit, not much, but he is slowing down. He remains THE BIG DOG though and flexes on everyone when appropriate. That dog can still pound the earth when he runs. Gorgeous sight.
Abby Doodle remains the ball of energy she always is. Curious as ever and STINKY. She's lower to the ground though and I think this works against her.
All the cats are alive, fat and furry. They too remain spoiled.
In the following pics you'll see current ones of Tess & Turbo, the tortoises. Back in February we had a day that was nice enough to have them roam the yard for about an hour! It was incredible to see the shelled machines motor about. Their full time outside season is on the horizon.
The Webb's have been blessed this month with Financial Freedom, except the house. This is something we have been working toward for the past 2 1/2 years. Long time coming and worth the sacrifice and work. Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" really works! We are very happy in this accomplishment just in time for Bernie's 46th birthday this past weekend!
We had a small party celebrating both event here at our small home with the couples whom who spend the bulk of our free time with and our new priest Fr. George, who totally rocks. It was steak and starch for everyone! Not to mention beer and homemade German Chocolate cake.
It's getting late and that's about all I can think of for now.
Pray for us...we're praying for YOU!
Blessings...
